Testimonials
"Todays session was amazing. Thankyou so much for your time. I'm working on seeing my daughter through a different lens now. All your points made perfect sense & I'm so happy I can listen to more on the boundaries with this session too. Thankyou so much for both recordings. I made a few changes already. And she keeps asking questions she’s never asked before like Mummy will you look after me? Mummy are you my friend? I'm taking it as a cue for more connection and jumping in for hugs & chats with her in those moments. Thanks for looking out for my well being too. That's so special that you understand what were dealing with. I'm so grateful for your encouragement. You’re right. I'm well overdue for some fun and stuff to look forward to again. I’ll keep on this and will touch base again. I hope you know how much you’re helping the families of all your followers.
Many thanks again x

What Happens Once You Book
Youâll receive an email with a calendar link to book your session. Once youâve chosen your time, youâll get a confirmation straight away with your Zoom link, or the number Gen will be calling you on.
You'll also get a short video from Gen on connection. It goes for about six minutes. Watch it, or just stick it on while you're doing the dishes. It covers the groundwork, which means when you do sit down together you can spend the whole session on your actual situation instead of the basics.
There's also one question to think about beforehand so you get the most from your session.
If You Need to Change Your Time
These sessions are limited so Gen really appreciates 24 hours notice if you need to cancel, but life with small children is unpredictable and Gen completely understands that sometimes life gets in the way.
You can move or cancel your appointment yourself at any time, using the link in your confirmation email.
Before You Book
Gen is an Obstetric Social Worker, Parent Educator and mum to four boys. These sessions are practical support for the hard everyday stuff, the help you look at what you are bringing to the table in the really tricky moments in parenting and why that is, they can be a check in to see if more help might be needed or advice on where to go next with a problem.Â
A question Gen often gets is, "Will this help with my child who is extremely deep-feeling, neurodivergent, or has a disability?" Gen is not an ADHD or Neurodiversity specialist. What Gen works on is YOUR parenting, how you are showing up in the tricky moments, how you and your partner get on the same page in parenting and she believes that what kids need (to feel loved, safe and seen) is needed by all kids. So in short, yes this is for you if youâd like help with connection, attachment and being the parent youâd like to be for your kids. .Â
If things feel bigger and you need help at any stage before or after our appointment there are people who can help properly.

Meet Rebbeca
Thank you for all your kindness during my time at the mater. I remember crying after listening to you talk, because your words really were so touching and empathetic. Going through the hash lockdown of COVID and returning home to a toddler with a newborn, your really helped guide me at a time that I was feeling lost and weak. Thank you for all that you did and continue to do for all the mothers during such a difficult year. I remember staying back on the day of my discharge just to hear your class and I’m so glad I did. I use your techniques with my toddler when she’s having a bad day and she really does respond better. I’m happy for you to share this because it really is the truth :) Thank you again for helping me see the positives during such a negative time of lockdown x

Hi Gen, Just wanted to say how great your help with independent play was yesterday. Even with just one night of confidently setting boundaries we had this in the morning!”
Emmy played blocks while I breastfed the baby. Which is a huge breakthrough. I’ve been relying on tv quite a bit during feeding which has been leading to other issues so this is a great step!
